Effective Date: 2025-10-19. This policy applies to purchases of digital products, templates, and services from Techrafter. We may update this policy from time to time; the latest version will be published on our website.
2. Overview
Techrafter aims to provide high-quality digital products and professional services. Because most of our offerings are digital (downloads, templates, and code) or bespoke services (custom development, support), refunds are handled according to the rules below to balance customer satisfaction with protection against misuse.
3. Digital Product Refunds (Templates & Downloads)
Digital goods (one-time purchases):
- Customers may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if the product has not been downloaded or if there is a demonstrable, reproducible defect that we cannot reasonably fix.
- To request a refund, contact info@techrafter.com with the order ID, purchase date, and a clear description or reproduction steps of the issue.
- If a refund is approved, we will refund the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
- Refunds will not be granted for change of mind, or if the product has been substantially modified or redistributed by the purchaser.
4. Services, Deposits & Custom Work
Custom development, quotes, and ongoing work:
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to begin custom work, as stated in our payment terms. The deposit secures scheduling and project initiation and is not refundable except at our sole discretion.
- Refunds for services are evaluated case-by-case. If we have not yet started the agreed work, we may offer a partial or full refund at our discretion.
- If work has commenced, we will issue refunds only for uncompleted deliverables based on the agreed hourly rate or scope remaining, minus the non-refundable deposit.
5. Support & Maintenance Plans / Subscriptions
Ongoing plans and subscriptions:
- Support & maintenance plans billed monthly or annually may be canceled at any time. For pre-paid annual plans, we offer prorated refunds for the unused portion if canceled within 30 days of renewal, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Requests to pause or change plan quotas should be made in writing to info@techrafter.com. Refunds for partial months are handled case-by-case.
- We may charge additional fees for out-of-scope work, in which case a separate quote and client approval are required prior to starting the work.
6. Marketplace and Third-Party Limitations
If a purchase is made through a third-party marketplace or reseller (e.g., CodeCanyon, Envato, or other platforms), that platform's refund policy may apply. Please check the marketplace policy and contact them first. We will cooperate to resolve issues but cannot override marketplace refund rules.
7. How to Request a Refund
- Email info@techrafter.com with your order ID, purchase date, reason for refund, and supporting evidence (screenshots, reproduction steps, or error logs).
- We will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and aim to resolve or respond with a decision within 5 business days.
- If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–14 business days, depending on the payment provider.
8. Chargebacks & Fraud
If a customer opens a chargeback with their payment provider before contacting us, we will defend our position with the marketplace or payment provider and provide evidence of delivery. Repeated fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension and legal action.
9. Exceptions & Non-Refundable Items
- Non-refundable: Deposits, fees for work already completed, costs incurred for third-party services purchased on behalf of the client (e.g., paid plugins, premium assets), and bespoke changes requested and approved after delivery.
- We do not offer refunds for issues caused by client-side misconfiguration, third-party services, or misuse of the software.
10. Policy Changes & Company Transition
Techrafter is in the process of registering as a company. When we transition from a sole proprietor to a company entity, this policy will remain in effect and may be updated to reflect the new company details. Any changes will be posted on our website and will not affect refunds or purchases already processed under prior terms.
